About Start Local
Founded in 2022, Start Local supports small business development in rural communities from our home base in Alpine, Texas.
We work alongside business owners, founders, and community partners to incubate projects that increase quality of life for residents and create durable opportunities for work and creativity in the Big Bend.
Start Local stewards the Granada Theatre, La Sala Studio, Alcove Social, and Kishmish Plaza—a growing portfolio of spaces and experiences rooted in Alpine and the surrounding region.
